1. About these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and K V Anish, trading as Kitwala (“Kitwala”, “we”, “us”), for using the Kitwala website at www.kitwala.co.in and its dashboards. By creating an account, sending a request or listing products, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Kitwala.

2. What Kitwala does

Kitwala lets riders choose a vehicle, see accessories that partner shops list for it, compare prices, and contact or visit the shop. Partner shops list products, share their location and reply to riders. Kitwala is a platform that connects riders and shops. We do not sell, stock, deliver or fit accessories ourselves, and we are not a party to any sale between a rider and a shop.

3. Accounts

• You must be 18 or over, or use Kitwala with a parent or guardian’s consent.
• Give accurate details, and keep them up to date.
• You are responsible for activity in your account. Keep your Google or email account secure.
• One person or shop per account. Don’t create accounts in someone else’s name.

4. For riders

• Kitwala is free for riders.
• Prices shown are estimates or the shop’s listed price. The final price, stock, fitting time and warranty are agreed directly with the shop.
• Pay the shop directly. Kitwala does not take payments from riders.
• Check the product and fitting before you pay. Any complaint about a product or fitting is first between you and the shop, though you can tell us so we can review the shop.

5. For partner shops

• Legal products only. List only accessories that are legal for road use in India. Never list items such as bull bars or crash guards for cars, tinted sun film, pressure or multi-tone horns, loud aftermarket exhausts, fancy number plates, or beacons and strobe lights.
• Honest listings. Product names, prices, the vehicles they fit and stock must be accurate. Quotes should be honoured for at least 3 days unless you say otherwise in the quote.
• Your own photos. Upload only photos you took or have the right to use. Don’t copy photos from brands or other sellers without permission.
• Rider details. Use riders’ details only to respond to their request. Don’t add riders to marketing lists or share their details.
• Responsibility. You are responsible for the products you sell, their fitting, warranties, invoices, taxes and any licences your business needs.
• Contact details and location. While your shop is listed, your shop mobile, address and map location are shown to signed-in riders. Keep them accurate.
• Categories. Category names you create must describe legal products honestly. Kitwala may rename or remove categories.
• Licence to display. You allow Kitwala to show your shop details, products and photos on the Kitwala website and in promotion of Kitwala, while they are listed.

6. Partner plans and payment

• Plans are Starter (₹499), Growth (₹1,499) and Pro (₹3,999) per month, plus GST. Prices may change with 30 days’ notice.
• Launch partners get the first month free. We will contact you before any payment is due.
• Plans are billed monthly in advance. You can cancel any time, and your plan stays active until the end of the paid month. Fees already paid are not refunded, unless the law requires it.
• Kitwala does not guarantee a number of enquiries or sales.

7. Legal labels are guidance

We mark accessories as “Road legal” or “Check with RTO” based on our reading of the Motor Vehicles Act, the Central Motor Vehicles Rules and government notices. Rules and enforcement can differ by state and change over time. These labels are general guidance and not legal advice. Riders and shops are responsible for making sure an accessory and its fitting comply with the law and the vehicle’s registration (RC).

8. Things you must not do

• Post false, misleading, offensive or illegal content.
• List or ask for illegal modifications.
• Harass, spam or cheat other users.
• Try to access other users’ data or interfere with how Kitwala works.
• Copy Kitwala’s design, content or data for a competing service.

We may remove content, hide listings, or suspend or close accounts that break these terms, with or without notice.

9. Our content

The Kitwala name, logo, design and vehicle and accessory catalogue belong to us. Vehicle and brand names belong to their owners and are used only to describe compatibility.

10. Availability and liability

• We try to keep Kitwala running smoothly, but it is provided “as is” and may sometimes be unavailable or contain errors.
• We are not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, pricing or fitting of products sold by shops, or for disputes between riders and shops.
• To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 3 months before the claim, or ₹1,000 if you paid nothing.
• Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.

11. Changes and ending

We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top and tell signed-in users about important changes. You can stop using Kitwala and ask us to delete your account at any time.

12. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be handled by the courts in Hyderabad, Telangana. Please contact us first; most issues can be solved quickly.
